Reflected in You

Reflected in You - Sylvia Day I'm in love with Gideon Cross... how's that for starters?

In Reflected In You, Gideon and Eva's story continues right where it left off in Bared to You. Both Gideon and Eva are still trying to work out their issues because as they say: they're pretty "fucked up" people and it perhaps would be better if each went their own way, but they know that if they really try, they have a chance at making their relationship work.

Gideon is the drug Eva can't live without, and Eva is the drug Gideon needs to survive and overcome his past. Being apart from each other simply kills them, and it is out of the question in Gideon's mind. Eva tries to see it differently but admits if she leaves him, getting over Gideon will be impossible.

I was pretty surprised at the turn of events in this installment. Gideon and Eva's relationship is one emotional rollercoaster, yes, while things start to work out and their trust in each other starts to grow, stuff happens (oh yeah, you'd have to read it to know) and they're set several steps back, and make a go again. There are several misunderstandings, trust issues, break ups and make ups.... um yeah, the make ups... Goodness Gracious...turn the A/C on please... Gideon is one hawt damn drop dead gorgeous sex god!!! There is a scene in a limo after an alt rock concert, dang it! I'm still catching my breath.

Um, yeah... I need book three ASAP!

Blurb:

Gideon Cross. As beautiful and flawless on the outside as he was damaged and tormented on the inside. He was a bright, scorching flame that singed me with the darkest of pleasures. I couldn't stay away. I didn't want to. He was my addiction... my every desire... mine.

My past was as violent as his, and I was just as broken. We’d never work. It was too hard, too painful... except when it was perfect. Those moments when the driving hunger and desperate love were the most exquisite insanity. We were bound by our need. And our passion would take us beyond our limits to the sweetest, sharpest edge of obsession...
