In Love with Romance

A sexy fun read. Sam is a smart and sexy bad…bad girl. Rick is the handsome, (well truth be told…he is the handsomest) billionaire bachelor around. From the moment they meet, nothing can set them apart. It’s quite funny how Sam calls herself and Stoney “acquisitions relocators”, and even funnier how Rick is always a step or two ahead of her; when she thinks of something, he’s already thought it– which drives Sam insane, and that is precisely what draws them together. Then there is Donner. The animosity between Donner and Sam is quite comical…good Lord, she doesn’t even call him by his given name. Then that surprising twist at the end with Rick, brings into the story a tiny piece of Suzanne’s Regency Romances.

After having read most of Suzanne Enoch’s Regency Romances I wasn’t sure what to expect with the switch to contemporary suspense. Then again, who am I kidding? I’d read anything she writes! Yes, Flirting with Danger is not what most of her readers are used to, but it is just as fun and witty as her other novellas. I bought this book when it was first published, and didn’t get to read it until now, and now that I have is going on my shelf of favorites. Can’t get enough of Sam and Rick.
